I have over 20 year\u2019s experience from the frontline up to the executive level and have an astute, detailed understanding of all aspects of railway operations that I can apply to any large or Group<\/li>\n<li>Chiltern Railways<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I worked as an independent rail operations consultant with large multidisciplinary teams, led workstreams, both in the UK and internally, and developed operational concepts and readiness plans for a range of projects and a variety of project values up to \u00a31.5bn.<\/p>\n<p>Specific tasks I have undertaken include the following (but this planning<\/li>\n<li>Performance improvement<\/li>\n<li>Development of new operating systems<\/li>\n<li>Station operations<\/li>\n<li>Trade Union engagement<\/li>\n<li>Rail Operations Product development<\/li>\n<li>Specification and procurement of rail tenders<\/li>\n<li>Assessments of TOC for funders and specifiers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a Member of the Institute of Railway Operators.<\/p>\n<p>I am also a voluntary Non-Executive Director of West Somerset Railway plc., I sit as an advisor on several boards (RSSB Dynamic Train Planning and the creation of the Heritage Rail Safety &amp; Standards Board) as well as being a programme\/course tutor for professional training and development for the Institute
